99 Drum Samples is a free collection of electronic and acoustic drum hits. They were built up over a number of years and processed with a variety of bits of gear. Many of the sounds were also recorded to cassette tape and/or processed with a tape delay. This pack will make a great addition to your samples folder, and also to our free sounds category!
There are drum machine sounds and acoustic drum hits that were recorded to cassette tape in order to enhance them with a bit of punch and grit. Some of the included drum hits were also passed through an old tape delay unit, resulting in a warm organic sound.
The pack also includes a selection of modern electronic drum samples, some acoustic drums and a set of drums that were synthesized. Also included is a small set of lo-fi drums. These were recorded from various toy instruments such as the Yamaha DD-5.
The library contains 99 individual drum samples in 24-bit WAV format. The samples have been carefully edited, trimmed and normalized to -0.1 dB. The exception being some cymbal hits that are peaking around -3 dB.
